Our Monitoring Sponsor

Clean Water Services continues to provide support for water quality and research at Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve. Ongoing support from Clean Water Services (CWS) helps us keep the water quality monitoring stations running and reporting quality-controlled data. Additionally, the remote camera system includes equipment that is maintained on CWS property.
Our Original Sponsor

Intel provided the original grant for the Wetlands Monitoring System in 2002. The original system included a weather station, a water quality monitoring station at the Gene Pool, and a remote video camera system. An interactive computer exhibit at the Wetlands Education Center was created to provide an understanding of how information about our environment can be collected and analyzed. Development of the Wetlands Monitoring System started with an internship program at OGI School of Science and Engineering at OHSU
