Remote Camera
System Photo Gallery
The remote camera system from SeeMore
Wildlife Systems provides video and still images. A remote
camera is located in the northern part of the Preserve in an area
that is not open for public access. Still images from this camera
system are presented in this photo gallery. These images were captured since the camera was deployed in 2003. Continuous video can
be viewed in the Education Center. Visitors can remotely control
the pan, tilt and zoom. |

When are the Animals at the Preserve?
When you view the pictures in the Photo Galleries, ask yourself
this question: What seasons of the year can you expect to see
these animals? Note the time of year when the images were made.
Some animals may be present at the Preserve all year, while
others stay here only for a particular season before migrating
elsewhere. Some birds go to Mexico and Central America for the
winter before returning here to nest in the spring. Other birds,
including many shorebirds, nest in northern Canada and Alaska
in the summer, then stop at the Preserve for several weeks before
migrating south for the winter. |
