From July 1 through August 15, 2008, Portland General Electric customers can simplify life, make an earth-friendly choice and give a boost to Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve by signing up for the PGE Paperless Bill option.
As a part of PGE’s Pick Paperless, Help Habitat promotion, PGE customers can vote for Jackson Bottom to receive a portion of a $20,000 donation PGE is making to four Portland area environmental organizations in honor of PGE Paperless Bill customers. Those already signed up for Paperless Bill can also vote.
“Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve is honored that PGE has chosen to support our efforts through this promotion.” says City of Hillsboro Natural Resources Manager Ed Becker. “The more votes for Jackson Bottom, the larger portion we’ll receive to Connect Water, Wildlife and People through valuable wetlands enhancement and education projects.”
