Background Information
The Remote Camera System
The remote camera system from SeeMore
Wildlife Systems provides continuous video that can be viewed
in the Education Center. A remote camera is located in the northern
part of the Preserve in an area that is not open for public access.
Visitors and researchers can remotely control the pan, tilt and
zoom in the Education Center. Viewers can observe nest site activity
or count waterfowl on the wetland. A combination of cables and wireless
technology is utilized to transmit images from the camera. The camera
system can be programmed to provide a tour of the wetland, featuring
points of interest such as the Bald eagle nest. Periodic still images
are available on this website.
